Congratulations to Jocelyn Hazlett!! Her Patriot Pen Essay placed first in district competition and will now move on to the state competition!! She will be recognized for her district win by the VFW in January. Congratulations and best of luck at state!

They will be there every Thursday the month of December. At the end of the day they will draw out a name to win $10.00!!
SPREAD THE LOVE - The yearbook team is having a drive to help make it a great Christmas for the residents of Lawson Manor. NEW items needed for the drive are: soft lap blankets, socks, toiletries, prepackaged soft snacks/candy. Donations can be made before school in the commons through Dec. 8th.
The PTO will be sponsoring a dance on Friday, Dec.8th. It is for 7th/ 8th graders beginning at 7:00, ending at 9:00. The cost to get in is $5.00 per person. Make sure your ride is here promptly at 9:00 to pick you up. A concession stand will be open to purchase refreshments.
8TH GRADE STUDENTS: Auditions for the spring play Who Walks in the Dark will be December 12th at 3:30 in the SPAC. Callbacks will be the 13th at 3:30 also in the SPAC.
If you would like to audition forms, sign up, and materials are outside Mr. Sanchez's door. If you have any questions ask Mr. Sanchez.
Character Crew will be selling Candy Grams this week - Monday 12/4 - Friday 12/8. A Candy Gram is a great way to send a Holiday message to a friend or classmate. There are several unique messages to pick from --- and candy will be added!! Stop by the teacher's table in the commons every morning to check out the Candy Grams. Each Candy Gram will cost $1 and will be delivered 7th hour on Friday 12/8. Make sure you put first AND last names on them.
FCCLA will be collecting toy donations for Meet the Need this Christmas. All donations are to be taken to your 4th hour classroom. The class with the highest % collected will get ice cream at lunch on December 13th.The 5th grade class need to take their donations to the 1st hour classroom. All donations should be placed outside the classroom, by the teachers door, so they can be collected without interruptions.
