Board of Education Spotlights Student Achievements
During the December Board of Education (BOE) meeting, the Lawson R-XIV Board proudly recognized eight outstanding students who earned MSHSAA All-State honors for the Fall 2025 season. This prestigious recognition, awarded by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA), celebrates students who demonstrate exceptional talent, dedication, and achievement in athletics, band, and choir.
All-State selections honor students who have excelled among their peers statewide, showcasing not only skill and performance but also leadership, commitment, and sportsmanship.

Final scores from tonight's doubleheader against Cameron.

Lady Cards Basketball fought hard in the championship game of the KCI tournament today! It was a back and forth battle with North Platte but the Lady Cards ultimately fall short, leaving with a 2nd place finish.
Cardinal basketball comes up short in their opening round matchup with East Buchanan, in the KCI tournament. They will be back in action tomorrow night at 8:15pm.
Lady Cards kick off the KCI tournament with a hard fought 50-39 victory over West Platte!



Lawson Girls Wrestling is kicking off the season at the Turkey Break tournament in Lathrop tonight!




Miles Hochwender and Emily Whitworth represented Lawson well at the 2025 State Cross Country Meet this morning.
Miles finished 53rd out of 171 runners, with a PR time of 17:45.
Emily also ran a PR, with a time of 22:15. She finished 83rd out of 173 runners.
