C Team volleyball finished 4th in the East Buchanan tournament winning 5 of 6 sets in pool play but falling to East Buchanan and South Holt in bracket play.

Tonight's LMS Football schedule has flipped. The 7th grade will play 1st vs Richmond. The 8th grade will follow vs West Platte
Yesterday our Lady Cardinals overcame some adversity early in the day to take down a much larger Ray-Pec in bracket play 2-0. Our ladies later fell to NKC in 3 sets in the consolation bracket.
Lawson Softball hosted a triple header today. First faced Excelsior Springs and came away with a 10-4 victory. Then after a break, played Sherwood where we fought hard but came up short 0-4.

Lawson cross country ran this morning at the Odessa Invitation. As a team the boys took second with their top finisher Max Stephan also grabbing a second place individual finish. On the girls side Jocelyn Calvert finished as individual champion. Go

We are saddened by the tragedy involving 2 of our Lawson High School students last night. We will have counselors in the building to assist our students and staff through the grieving process as we return to school on Monday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families involved.
A change already to LMS Volleyball next Tuesday (9/19). The 7th grade is home vs Cameron. The 8th grade is on the road vs Cameron. BOTH times are now 4:30.

Fans attending High School Volleyball @ Penney tonight, be aware games are at the elementary school. Additionally, there is a closure on 13 hwy, just south of the 36 overpass.
Thanks to an explosive 12 run 4th inning, our Lady Cardinals downed Benton 13-1 after the fifth.
Lawson Varsity Volleyball falls to Excelsior 3-2. JV and C teams both came away with wins on the evening. Girls will be back in action tomorrow when they face the Lexington Minutewomen.
Two updates on this evening's activities: JV Football vs Penney will only be 2 quarters. Softball vs Carrollton has been postponed due to rain. Makeup game is TBD.
