We are saddened by the tragedy involving 2 of our Lawson High School students last night. We will have counselors in the building to assist our students and staff through the grieving process as we return to school on Monday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families involved.

Please drop your students off on the East (5th/6th wing) side of the building in the morning if they are car riders. Thanks for helping keep our students safe!

The Lawson R-XIV School District is excited to announce the long-awaited Grand Opening of the SW FEMA Building. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 15, from 5pm-6pm, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:15pm. LMS cheerleaders need to check their school emails as cheer practice starts next Monday, August 14th from 3:30-4:30 in the middle school gym. Full schedules for football season will be handed out at practice.

Tasked with inventing something to present to Shark Tank, students came up with inventions to make life easier. Examples: A robot housekeeper for those in need, an ink less printer and books, plus a mowing company with volunteers!

LMS Robotics class showed off their robots today! So good!!!




In math, the 5th graders planned and designed 3D figures and then calculated the volume of their creations










Today Mrs. Reynolds 6th graders used microscopes to study pond water. We saw many protists, larvae, and plant cells.






5th and 6th graders enjoyed Field Day last Friday, May 5, 2023. The rain interrupted our day, but we made the best of it with fun games inside until we could get outside again.
