Whether your student completed their very first year of preschool, graduated from kindergarten, celebrated 8th grade promotion, or officially became a graduate and Lawson alum, this year has been filled with growth, memories, challenges, and accomplishments. We are grateful to have shared the journey with each of you.

Thank you for partnering with us throughout the year. Your support, patience, and perseverance through morning drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, late nights, busy schedules, and meals on the run helped make this year successful for our students.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and memory-filled summer break. We’ll be here in the fall, recharged, refreshed, and ready to do it all again!

Weather Alert Update Due to severe weather forecasts, the District will implement an early release at 2:00 PM today. All after-school activities are canceled.

WEATHER ALERT... We are continuing to monitor the approaching severe weather this afternoon, with a focus on ensuring safe travel for all students, including those on bus routes, car riders, and student drivers. We will reassess the forecast during the 10:00 a.m. hour and will communicate any decisions or updates to families by 11:00 a.m. Please be prepared for the possibility of an early release. Thank you for your continued support.

This April, Lawson Cardinal Theatre invites you to experience the magical, wonderful, and scrumdiddlyumptious story of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory! See all your favorite moments and characters brought to life by our talented cast and crew! After finding a golden ticket, Charlie Bucket and his grandfather take a tour of the mysterious and wacky factory of Willy Wonka. Along the way they, and a group of bratty children, navigate the perils and hijinks of the factory, all in the quest for a lifetime of chocolate! A wonderful adventure for the whole family and more! Auditions are open to 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Auditions will be January 9th after school in the SPAC. Callbacks will be January 11th after school in Mr. Sanchez’s room. (we will be done before talent show rehearsal!) Crew forms will be due January 12th to Mr. Sanchez. Pick up forms and sign up outside Mr. Sanchez’s room. The show will be April 18th, 19th, & 20th. The Middle School has experienced a false fire alarm. Students were evacuated according to district safety plans. All students have been accounted for and have safely returned back to regular school day operations.

There will be a Supply a Student night next Monday in Mrs. Stock's room in the LMS. Please enter through the north door near the band room.

Next week is Red Ribbon week at LMS. This is an opportunity for our students to say "NO" to drugs and alcohol.
