Our Lady Cardinals defeated Mid-Buch tonight in the 1st round of district play 58-50. We will move on to Lathrop in the second round on Wednesday. Plan on bringing the thunder then at East Buchanan.
Lawson Girls Wrestling program competed in the Class 1, District 4 tournament this weekend at Kearney High School.
All of our girls wrestled well and made Lawson proud. Specifically, we want to congratulate Maddyson Coleman and Alijah Jesse for punching their tickets to State!

Lawson Basketball swept the Penney Hornets on a three game night. Celebrations were also held to honor the basketball seniors.
Lawson Girls Wrestling team traveled to Kearney for day #1 of Dostricts tonight. Lots of fun and competitive matches. Looking forward to day #2 tomorrow to punch some tickets to state starting at 10am!

Lawson Cardinals hosted Brookfield Bulldogs tonight. JVG won 30-16 and our JVB won 59-29. Our Varsity girls played well and came away with a 52-27 win. Our Varsity boys rounded out the night with a strong second half to win 65-37.

Last night our wrestlers celebrated Senior Night with a 36-21 dual victory over Polo. Congratulations to seniors Josie Briant and Dalton McNeal.
Both gyms of basketball will start at 5 pm tonight at North Platte. JV Boys then C Team Boys in the auxiliary gym. JV girls then Varsity Girls/Boys in the HS Gym.
Tonight's middle school scholar bowl competition vs Mid-Buch has been postponed. There will be a practice after school.
Yesterday our boy grapplers battled against 12 other schools at the Benton Invitational. Congratulations to the following wrestlers: 1st place - Brayden Sullard and Conner Menke. 4th place - Josh Teegarden.

Update from the Richmond Basketball Tournament. The girls team came away with a 35-30 win over Braymer, while the boys fall to Wellington-Napoleon 50-41. Both teams are back in Richmond tomorrow, boys at 5:30 and girls at 7. #WeAreLawson

The Richmond Basketball Tournament will proceed tonight as planned. Girls at 545 in the middle school and boys at 7 pm in the high school
The KCI Wrestling Tournament at West Platte has confirmed it will occur as schedule tonight at 5 pm.
All home games vs Plattsburg tonight have moved up 30 minutes. JV girls then boys at 4 pm in the Barker Center. Varsity girls then boys in the HS gym at 5:30.
Tomorrows JV Basketball Tournament at West Platte will move back 3 hours. The girls will play at noon vs East Buchanan in the Elementary Gym. Boys will play at 1:30 vs West Platte in the HS Gym.
There will be no Boys (Lathrop Tournament) nor Girls Wrestling (Liberty North) tomorrow due to extreme early morning temperatures
