Due to transportation issues, tonight's two home middle school games vs. Cameron will start at 5 pm, not 4:30.

Friday night's middle school basketball schedule versus North Platte will be: 3 games of Boys (C/B/A) starting at 4:30 in the LMS Gym and 1.5 games of Girls (.5 B/1 A) in the Barker Center starting at 6 pm.

Congratulations to our 3 cross country state qualifiers!! Jocelyn Calvert, Max Stephan, and Hunter Thompson will compete Saturday in Columbia in the Class 2 State Championship. Our entire squad battled cold and blustery conditions to put their best foot forward today.









Middle School Athletics Parent Meetings are coming up for wrestling and basketball. Wrestling is tonight at 5:15 pm. Boys Basketball is this Saturday morning at 9 am. Girls Basketball is Monday at 5:15 pm. All parent meetings are in the middle school commons.

Lawson Volleyball faced Carrollton for the District Championship tonight. The match was hard fought but Cards did not prevail. The Cardinals season came to a close with a 19-10-1 record. Much to be proud of including a KCI Conference Championship and 2nd Place District plaque.

The Blazing Cardinal Marching Band had an outstanding Saturday at the Cameron Marchfest. Our performers finished 1st in Parade and Drumline, 2nd in Indoor Color Guard, and 3rd in Field Show. The Color Guard also received an Outstanding Parade Award.

Lawson Cardinals Cross Country traveled to St. Micheal's Classic today. Varsity boys placed 5th with an average time of 18:59. Medalists included Jocelyn Calvert(2nd) for girls. Max Stephan(5th), Hunter Thompson(17th), Owen Weatherapoon(23), Isaac Willoughby(27), and Trystan Rash (35).
Districts are next Saturday at Platte Ridge Park. Go Cards!


The Lady Card Volleyball team defeated Trenton last night in 3 sets to advance to the Class 2 District 15 Championship to be played Monday in Lathrop at 6:00 where they will be taking on the Carrollton Trojans. Come and support our Lady Cards as the seek another district title!

A reminder that LMS boys and girl's basketball practice starts tomorrow. The boys will practice at the elementary FEMA gym from 3:30-5:30. Girls will practice from 3:05-5:00 at the middle school gym.

JV Volleyball traveled to Excelsior Springs today to compete in a tournament and they finished 2nd. Then rushed back to Lawson to face the East Buchanan Bulldogs and won 2-1! Great job Cardinals!!

Cardinal Softball began District play last night with a 10-0 victory over West Platte. Lasy Cardinals travel to Faucett to play Mid-Buchanan Dragons tomorrow at 11:00am in the semi-finals. #LawsonGoCards
