Lawson R-XIV School District

Dr. Michael Stephenson Lawson, Superintendent of Schools, and Mr. Daniel Petet Lawson, High School Principal, were the guests of Terry Thompson – MO House Representative 53^rd District, as members of a Ray County delegation for the 2024 Governors Prayer Breakfast. The prayer breakfast is an annual interfaith event for all leaders and citizens of Missouri. Its purpose is to seek God’s guidance for state government leaders at the beginning of the legislative session. While in Jefferson City for the event, Dr. Stephenson and Mr. Petet also had the opportunity to meet with several state officials to discuss legislative issues impacting our local community and education throughout Missouri.
