The girl's track team competed in the Class 3 District 8 meet today, scored 171 points, and is the 2023 Class 3 District 8 Champions! The day was filled with many outstanding performances and personal bests. Congratulations to individual District Champions: Jocelyn Calvert in the 1 and 2-mile runs, Mary Moore in the Javelin and Shot Put, and Kam Florea in the Pole Vault
.The top four places in each event qualify for next weekend's Sectional meet. Those qualifiers are:

4x100m Relay - (Busby, Florea, Cross, Baldwin)

2 Mile Run - Jocelyn Calvert
Shot Put - Mary Moore and Evie Caresia
Discus - Phoebe McCleary and Evie Caresia
Javelin - Mary Moore and Addison Bartlett
High Jump - Kira Phipps and Anna Harrold
Pole Vault - Kam Florea and Kira Phipps
Long Jump - Addison Shay
Our next track meet will be the Class 3 Sectional meet at Warrensburg High School on Saturday, May 20th.
