9/7 vs Penney
For our conference opener, we hosted the Penney Hornets on Thursday evening. We were able to push across 7 runs in the first 3 innings and fortunately, that was enough. Kamryn Florea led the offense with 3 hits. Madi Cross and Lindsey Green each had a multi-hit game ending the evening with 2 hits apiece. Megan McFall, Kate Penniston, and Gracie Cox each added a hit of their own for a team total of 10 hits.

Avah Nigh got the start in the circle and was able to make some big pitches in key moments to get much-needed outs. Twice she was able to work out of bases-loaded jams.

Final
7-2 Win

Record

The junior varsity squad also hosted Penney. The offense was rolling, ending the evening with 10 hits in just 4 innings. Jolene Jacobsen, Caelyn Campbell, Reghan Loges, and Lexie Ayers each had a multi-hit evening ending the game with 2 hits apiece. Brenna Ayers and Kenzie Duncan added a hit as well.

Lauren Davis started the game and Brenna Ayers came in in relief in the 3rd inning. Both pitchers did a great job of locating pitches and keeping hitters guessing.
