The Lawson R-XIV School District is buzzing with activity this summer as we prepare for a successful 2025–2026 school year.
Across the district, construction crews are making significant progress on key facility upgrades, including a new administrative office and secure entry at Southwest Elementary.
On the middle school and high school campus, expanded sidewalks are being installed to enhance student safety and improve the efficiency of bus loading and unloading.
Middle school renovations include a redesigned daytime entrance and an updated main office to strengthen building security and visitor access. A newly constructed weight room will further support student wellness and athletic development.
At the high school, students and staff will benefit from a full renovation of the H-Hall restrooms, which will enhance functionality, cleanliness, and accessibility in one of the most frequently used areas of the building.
Looking ahead to July, additional upgrades include new flooring in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classrooms, lockers for 3rd and 4th grade students, and a full refresh of student furniture throughout Southwest Elementary.
All of these summer projects are made possible by the overwhelming support of our community, which resulted from the passage of the April 2024 No Tax Increase Bond. We are grateful for your continued investment in our schools and students.
