Lawson Blazing Cardinals Marching Band Excels at Carrollton Band Day
Lawson, MO — The Lawson Blazing Cardinals Marching Band launched their 2025 competitive season on Saturday, September 27, at the 55th Annual Carrollton Band Day, earning top placements in multiple Class 3 events.
Results included:
Indoor Color Guard – 1st Place
Field Show – 2nd Place
Best in Class Field Show Color Guard Award
Indoor Drumline – 5th Place
Band members showcased months of preparation and teamwork in front of a large regional audience. “We are so proud of our students’ efforts and achievements,” said Mr. Sam Riley, Lawson Band Director. “Their energy, discipline, and commitment are what make performances like this possible.”
The Blazing Cardinals will continue their season with several upcoming performances:
October 3 – Homecoming Parade & Homecoming Football Game
October 11 – Odessa Marching Invitational (Odessa High School)
October 18 – Cameron Marchfest (Cameron High School)
October 24 – Home Football Game – Senior Night
