On Thursday night, during the District 13 and 14 Sectional match-up, the Lady Cards lost a hard-fought battle to a very talented Lone Jack team.
Lone Jack won the first set 25-20. In the second set, the teams battled until the end, and Lone Jack won their second set 28-26. The Lady Cards gained momentum and won the third set 25-22. In the third set, the Lady Cards let the Mules gain too big of a lead early on and couldn't recover, losing 21-25.

This loss brought our 2022 season to an end. It has been quite a ride with a great group of girls.
Our seniors brought so much positive leadership to our program and will be greatly missed next year. Thank you to our staff and community for your tremendous support. We could always count on a crowded gym bursting with energy. While we are sad to have completed our season short of our goal, we know what a blessing it has been to be a part of such a magical season.
Congrats to our cross country runners and football team as they continue their fall season next week, and good luck to our winter sports as they begin to prepare for the season on Monday. As always, It's a GREAT day to be a Cardinal!
