10/28 at Trenton
Win 21-14
Record 7-3
The boys played a great game. The first quarter was a defensive battle between two good teams.  With 45 seconds left in the first half, we got our first score on the board with a touchdown run by Garret Green and an extra point by Caden Miller. Our defense continued to dominate, and we went into the half with a 7-0 lead.  The third quarter was more of the same, with great defense.  We extended our lead early in the 4th quarter win Mason Wibbenmeyer was able to break a touchdown run for 60 yards and another Caden Miller extra point to move the score to 14-0. Trenton got on the board with 9 minutes left in the game to bring the score to 14-7. Our next drive was our best of the night, culminating in a 1-yard touchdown run by Mason Wibbenmeyer at the 2:31 mark left in the game.  Following another good extra point kick by Caden Miller, we would extend the lead back to 2 scores at 21-7.  Our defense would make Trenton drive the ball and eat up time.  They would score their final TD with 35 seconds left.  After we recovered their onside kick, we were able to get into Victory formation and take a knee to end the game.  It was a great effort on offense, defense, and special teams.  We overcame adversity and kept getting better as the game went along.  I am so proud of how hard we battled the whole game.

Our next game is Friday, November 5th, at Higginsville to avenge our week 2 loss to Lafayette County.
